To transfer funds from a savings account, locate the savings account by accessing the client, group, or center that owns the account, and then click on the savings account in the Savings Accounts Overview section (the source account).

The savings account from which the transfer is made does not need to belong to the same client as the destination account. However, the client who owns the source account must request or authorize the transfer.

The source and destination accounts must be in the same currency.

Begin by locating the savings account from which you want to transfer funds.

This means you must first identify the client (an individual), group (a collection of clients), or center (an organization or administrative level) that owns the account.

Once the client, group, or center has been located, navigate to its profile or detailed information page.

In this section, you will see a list of its accounts.

Look for the Show Closed Accounts option.

From this view, click on the savings account you wish to use as the source account (the account from which the money will be transferred).

Fields

Amount: Enter the transfer amount.

Transaction Date: Select the transaction date using the calendar.

Description: Enter any relevant notes.

Click Submit.

The transfer amount will be withdrawn from the source account, transferred to the destination account, and the source account balance will be updated immediately.

Transfer Funds from a Savings Account to a Recurring Deposit Account

The Recurring Deposit Account must be active, and the Savings Account must contain the required balance in order to initiate the transfer.

On the Savings Account page, click:

Transfer Funds from a Savings Account to a Fixed Deposit Account

The Fixed Deposit Account must be linked to the Savings Account when submitting the new Fixed Deposit application, in order to enable the transfer of funds from the Savings Account.

Note: The funds transfer can be performed only once, that is, when the new Fixed Deposit is activated, provided that the linked Savings Account is active.

Steps

On the Savings Account page, click:

Hamburger Menu >> More >> Transfer Funds

In the Fixed Deposit application:

Settings >> Link Savings Account >> Select the Savings Account to be associated with this Fixed Deposit Account

Then approve and activate the Fixed Deposit Account.

The deposit amount specified in the application will then be automatically transferred from the linked Savings Account.

You can verify the transfer by navigating to:

Fixed Deposit Account >> Transactions >> Select any completed transaction.
