Once a loan account application is submitted, whether for an individual client, a group, or a solidarity group, it automatically moves to the Pending Approval status. At this stage, the loan account is identified by an orange color in the interface.

Who Can Approve a Loan?

Only users with loan approval rights in the Phenix system can perform this operation.

Approval Process

When you approve a loan application:

• The account status changes from Pending Approval to Approved.
• The loan then becomes ready for disbursement.

Canceling an Approval

If a loan has been approved but has not yet been disbursed, it is possible to reverse the approval:

• By unapproving the application, the status changes back to Pending Approval.
• This allows the application to be modified or corrected before proceeding with disbursement.
